Chelsea Handler's New Rescue Pup, Doug
Introducing Doug, the Salty Canadian Dog
Chelsea Handler, the comedian and author, recently introduced her new rescue pup, Doug, to her Instagram followers. The adorable dog is a full-grown bulldog who Handler adopted from a local shelter.
Handler shared a series of photos of Doug on Instagram, showing him off in various poses. In one photo, Doug is sitting on Handler's lap, looking up at her with adoring eyes. In another photo, Doug is playing with a toy, his tongue hanging out. Handler captioned the photos, "Gotta love that there's a salty Canadian woman walking around Whistler making sure that the celebrities leash their dogs."
Doug is Handler's second dog, after her beloved bulldog, Chunk, passed away in May 2023. Handler was devastated by Chunk's death, but she is now finding joy in Doug's companionship.
Doug is a playful and affectionate dog who loves to go for walks and cuddle with Handler. He is also a bit of a handful, but Handler wouldn't have it any other way. She is grateful to have Doug in her life, and she is excited to see what adventures they will have together.
