Liverpool and Man City Share Absorbing 2-2 Draw in Premier League Title Race

Thrilling Match Ends in Points Shared

Anfield Plays Host to High-Scoring Clash

Liverpool and Manchester City played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Anfield on Sunday, sharing the points in a pulsating Premier League encounter. The match saw both teams trade blows in a high-scoring affair, with Liverpool coming from behind twice to earn a point.

Manchester City took the lead early on through Phil Foden's close-range finish, but Liverpool soon hit back with a stunning strike from Sadio Mane. Kevin De Bruyne restored City's lead before halftime, but Mohamed Salah's second-half equalizer secured a share of the spoils for the Reds.

The result leaves Liverpool second in the Premier League table, one point behind leaders Arsenal. Manchester City remain in third place, four points adrift of the leaders.

Speaking after the match, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said: "It was a great game, a really intense game. Both teams had chances to win it, but in the end, a draw was probably a fair result."

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola added: "We played well, but Liverpool were very good too. It was a difficult game, but I'm happy with the point."
